My story begins when I became pregnant with twins in 2003. I was not heavy but certainly wasn’t thin either. I probably weighed about 150 pounds and wore a size 14 for most of my adulthood. With this pregnancy the weight came on fast. After my twins were born I was at my heaviest at a whopping 245 pounds! Then I got pregnant again two and a half years later, this time my starting weight was 180 and after giving birth I was 210! I knew I wasn’t thin, but I surely didn’t feel as big as I was! I called this dyslexic anorexic, because I just did not see that fat person in the mirror!
I knew on my heart that I was overweight, but just couldn’t accept the facts! I was still wearing my maternity clothes 15 months after my son was born! I finally came to the realization when I have seen a picture of myself on the carousel at Disneyland, thinking “Wow, I still look pregnant!” I was completely upset and was determined to lose weight! So I started exercising! I worked out so hard for 2 years, 6 days a week and lost 40 pounds! Now my weight was 170 I knew I had to lose more weight but exercise alone was not continuing my weight loss journey. Then I was introduced to the Ideal Protein Protocol. At first I was not sold because I had never done a diet plan before. I thought that I already eat so healthy, but I was wrong again.
I realized how much carbs and sugar I was actually eating and decided to give this plan a try. When I started the plan I really didn’t think that it would actually work for me. After 14 weeks and losing 35 pounds, I was amazed and so were all my clients. That is when twin tigers weight-loss was born in 2010. And the rest is history! I’ve been helping people reach their goals for a long time and I love what I do! My quote to my clients is “Just be happy and healthy in your own skin!” Whether that be a number on the scale or a clothing size. You just need to be happy with yourself! JMB
